Over long periods of time, mileage and heat break down the material which can cause a major leak. If you don't know how old your seals are, it's a great idea to change them BEFORE they leak.
Whenever removing your injectors (for service or replacement), it is always recommended to replace these seals. In most cases, they are damaged when prying them out of the fuel rail and intake manifold. Always lubricate generously prior to installation to avoid o-ring failures.
The clips slide on at the top of the injector and fuel rail to set its depth position and lock them in place. The injector placement is extremely important. For example, if an injector is jammed too far in the rail, it will be short when plugging into the intake manifold and vice versa.
Fits all 1984-1987 Turbo Regal applications.
