These clips lock in around the opening of the front and rear glass and secure the trim molding to the car.
Due to the age of these cars, these clips typically break upon molding removal. It is crucial to ALWAYS replace these clips when removing and installing the window moldings if you want a nice tight fit.

These clips fit a wide selection of GM applications from the 1970's to the 1980's, so please measure your existing clips/moldings to confirm it will work with your application.
If your car has moldings that are 7/8" O.D (later models), these clips are CORRECT for your application.
If your car has moldings that are 1" O.D (later models), these clips are INCORRECT for your application and you will need the larger WHITE clip that we sell in our store. Search for part# 20169887 in my search box.
