These screws are used for a wide variety of applications of interior and exterior trim. They are most commonly used securing the door sills to the rocker panel over the carpet.  Each sill typically uses (4) screws, but your application may vary.
 
They are also used on sun visor brackets. Each bracket tyically takes (3) screws per side.
