New factory replacement rear differential cover gasket. Quanity (1). This gasket seals your differential cover to the rear axle assembly. These gaskets are exclusive for 8.5" 10-Bolt rear ends only.
Over long periods of time, mileage and heat break down the material which can cause a major leak.
Unlike the original GM gaskets, these are designed to be extra thick and made of a high temperature composite that will crush for a perfect seal and last a lot longer. This is a specialty gasket that you will not find at your local parts store.
Whenever removing your rear end assembly (for service or replacement), it is always recommended to replace this gasket and never reassemble without one.
For best results, always make sure both surfaces are clean and true.
