These rubber bumpers are commonly found in many 1960-1981 applications. The most common would be 1970-1981 F-Body and 1969-1980 G Body applications.
They screw directly into the radiator support to fine tune your alignment which will prevent squeaks and rattles. Simply set to desired height and tighten the nut to lock into place. Over time the rubber fails and becomes brittle. They will eventually break and create damage to your hood, unwanted noise and horrible body gap alignment. For best results, always lubricate with grease to minimize noise.
